Unique Events Directors Penny & Al were delighted to attend the Scottish Thistle Awards and be awarded Best Cultural Event or Festival for Unique Events’ role in Sleep in the Park for Lothian and Borders.

Last year 8,000 people joined the world’s largest sleep out in Princes St Gardens to raise £4 Million and call for an end to homelessness in Scotland. This has caused a sea change in the fight against homelessness and funded a raft of major projects. Social Bite want to keep up the momentum and we are asking 12,000 people across 4 cities to join us in a nationwide sleep out on Saturday 8th of December 2018.

The Scottish Thistle Awards is Scotland’s premier awards for the tourism industry, celebrating success, innovation, excellence and best practice in Scotland’s tourism and hospitality industry, the national final of the Scottish Thistle Awards will take place at the EICC in Edinburgh next March.
