We were delighted to be invited along to the Sunday Herald Culture Awards last Thursday 12th July. The Sunday Herald team were keeping very tight lipped about why they wanted us to be in attendance but we were happy to head along and enjoy the night!

After a great evening celebrating some incredible performances and winners, particular shout out to our award winning Edinburgh chums Edinburgh Fringe, Scottish Storytelling Centre and The Stand Comedy Club.

The reason why we were invited, along with Social Bite, was for a special award –Judges Choice Award supported by Sunday Herald – in recognition for our work on Sleep in the Park. The Judges had unanimously decided that Sleep in the Park was a cultural and community highlight in Scotland last year and wanted to mark and honour that with this award. We are proud to have played our part in helping address and hopefully eradicate the issue and reality of homelessness in Scotland.
